Multi-jurisdiction of Antarctica vs. Antarctic Treaty makes station-to-station circumnavigation tricky.

This short primer on the jurisdiction over Antarctica informs us of the situation we face when trying to determine actual distances between stations under different flags. Despite the Antarctic Treaty, no network of continental transportation has developed as suggested was feasible and useful-- in fact-- efficient, in 1968, and again in 1972 and then more recently as the idea was reviewed. (see "network" in the index below). The videogame developer of an Antarctic travel simulator stated that they found it extremely difficult to gather the data relating to getting around Antarctica as well. If there is so much international cooperation in Antarctica, then why is there no coop network and why is getting information difficult? And further, why are nations stealing fuel depot supplies from each other? Why is  there no mining allowed under a treaty clause until 2040 A.D. ... despite Byrd's 1958 assesment that there are plenty of resources there? Whatever happened to brining fresh water to the US via an iceburg tow as outlined in Popular Mechanics in the 1970's? There are a lot of things that don't make sense in Antarctica and just maybe it's because the ice rim flat earth antarctica is being covered up or fought over by other methods. The following video just gives us food for thought in this mission to discover the true Antarctica.
