So Rick Potvin would "like to see a Jet Plane Race around Antarctica." Fine, let him organise it!

Rick Potvin says-- We would have to stay north of 60 like Vendee claims when they run their sail boats around. If the earth is a sphere-- then the race ought to run about 24 hours at about 400 MPH. If it's flat, it ought to run 4X that-- say one work week from Monday morning to Friday morning. Those are rough approximations. John Lear, son of the inventor of the Lear Jet, is frequently on Coast to Coast and Noori wanted listeners to donate to him because he's out of money for some reason. If I can get Lear to agree to let his name be used in a promo for this race, in association with Lear Jet company, we might be able to set something up similar to what Vendee claims to have for sailboats-- but which I believe is being faked. The jet race won't be fake.

Hi, I'm Captain Rick of the Virtual Circumference Voyage of Antarctica. I intend to prove definitively if Earth is flat or a sphere by paying careful attention to how many miles we cover as we travel "around" Antarctica. Flat earth theory says it's 50-60,000 miles. Spherical Earth theory says it 14,000 miles. Join me and ask any questions that you think would help our mission.
